Dear The Sandbox Creator Community,

We are glad to publish the updated leaderboard for the first rewards of Builders’ Challenge 2!

You can find below the new BC2 rankings for weeks 1 and 2. We’ve made sure these updated metrics more closely align with those displayed on your creator’s experience analytics pages, showing as little discrepancies as possible from the recent adjustments to our anti-cheat measures and data processes.

To acknowledge the effort and patience from all participants while we corrected the issue and want you to have a stress-free experience, we decided rewards for Builders Challenge 2 will be based on the best ranking each creator has achieved across the two published leaderboards. This way, we ensure fairness and recognize the hard work you’ve put into your experiences.

To provide more convenience for the rest of the Builders’ Challenge N°2, the minimum player participation rule has been lifted as well as the rule requiring players to complete at least one quest for the player visit to be acknowledged. Creators are no longer required to have a minimum of 10 unique players each week to be eligible for rewards.

We’re committed to providing a transparent and engaging platform for all creators. If you spot any issues with the data shared below please contact us by posting below.

Could you please clarify the format used for avg. playtime?

The standard used in spreadsheets is usually 00:06:13 for e.g. as hours/minutes/seconds. But looking at this format I am confused as if the first numbers are minutes, then the second number after the dot can’t be seconds as it is above 59 for many entries.

@TomVoxel I am suspecting they are using the decimal number of time in minutes as it is easier for calculations. So instead of 30:30 (MM:SS) they used 30.5, of course that is my assumption based off of our analytics page which I have only seen the whole number of the data.

Hello, this is not to attack the creator/s but have the TSB Team periodically investigated the Top 100? I visited some of these Experiences that might be questionably high AVG Playtime. Starting with #8 COMING SOON, #9, #13, #38. I found out some AFK players while entering their games, or the creator itself playing, are those plays counted? Again, this is not to attack the creator/s or insult the Games, this is just a call to investigate. Ty

What formula do you use to calculate the score? I have tried to calculate it in various ways. I tested it with this one, for example:

Score= (Visits * AVG playtime) + (Visits * AVG playtime * 50% * 50% * 50% ), in case of having all the bonuses.

Taking Tower of Myths as an example:

Applying the formula: (91 * 39.92) + (91 * 39.92 * 50%) = 5,449.08

The result is totally different from the forum. I am not asserting that the formula I used is the one you are applying to define the score, I just think it is important for us to know the formula to confirm our score and know in real-time how we are doing in terms of score according to the metrics we have on the analytics website.

Wrong calculations! You guys should redo your equations and recalculate the datas! Some boosters haven’t applied on some Experiences. Guess redoing it would reshupple the rankings again!
