We’re pleased to announce that the final rankings for weeks 7 and 8 of Builders’ Challenge 2 are here!

Rewards will be distributed soon, and we will provide an update shortly on the timeline for their release.

Unlike previous weeks, these rankings are final. We’ve made thorough efforts to ensure fairness and accuracy, and we recognize the importance of getting rewards to you without further delays. We appreciate your understanding as we prioritize timely distribution at this stage of the challenge.

Duplicate Ranks
For those who may have questions about some duplicates or spam experiences appearing in the rankings, these instances remain in place as they did in weeks 3 and 4. For more information, you can revisit our original announcement detailing how duplicate rankings are handled.

Weeks 9 & 10 Rankings
We’re actively working on reviewing the rankings for weeks 9 and 10 and hope to have them ready as soon as possible. We’ll provide a more precise timeline once we’re closer to completion.

Missing Experiences & other Issues
Additionally, for creators with missing experiences or other issues related to their participation—such as rewards or rankings—you can report any concerns using this form. If we are already handling your case (e.g., missing experiences), there is no need to resubmit as we are already addressing these issues and will keep you updated as progress is made.

1. Some experiences in the TOP were part of the Mocaland event with a pool of 30k SAND, which, according to the rules, makes them ineligible for the Builder Challenge

Why almost all games in top 13 are from MOCA Gj/Mocaverse and why suddenly all top 13 games scores increased by 62% compared to previous weeks results?

Week 5-6 AVERAGE: 61,961

Yes this rule exist since the BC 1. In the case that it was remove, this experiences would be in the same situation of HKINDEX or GATs because is artificial engagement in these cases promoted by TSB himself.

From the guideline on spam and dups. There seems to be two totally different forces at play. Are they allowed or not? This says a clear no… yet…

Moving forward, any new duplicated or spam experiences will be disqualified. The Sandbox reserves the right to remove experiences from the leaderboard at our discretion if they are considered “spam,” including empty LAND, templates with minimal changes, and duplicates with minor modifications.

I can’t believe you considered experiences from an event that was promoted by TSB. This is so unfair to all the other studios that really put in the effort to attract real players, not paid ones like those who played in the 30k SAND event games.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the presence of experiences from official The Sandbox events in the Builders’ Challenge 2 rankings and want to address your concerns directly.

In accordance with the rules of Builders’ Challenge 2, experiences from official events—such as Game Jams or other themed events—have been allowed to participate in the challenge. These experiences, created by our talented community, align with our goal of promoting high-quality UGC (User Generated Content). Our intent is to encourage participation in both creators’ events like Game Jams and the Builders’ Challenge without creating barriers for those involved in either. This was outlined in the Builders Challenge #2 announcement, where we stated, “Note that experiences made through Game Jams themed around a Brand partner will be eligible for rewards.”

That said, we understand that seeing multiple event experiences in the top rankings has raised concerns. While we cannot—and do not believe we should—make any changes to the rules at this stage, we want to acknowledge that this is an important topic. We take your feedback seriously and will review this more closely for future Builders Challenges. We also encourage you to share your ideas and suggestions on how we might coordinate between these two types of events in the future.
