However, I just tested them and found that they don’t end automatically and need to be manually stopped with a message before replaying, like how VFX work.
Makes sense for looped SFX but odd for one-time SFX.
This is a cheerleader moment… This kind of thing is what we builders need and I personally thank you for this. We want/need tools that we can build bigger, better & more immersive games/experiences. I will be going through these sounds this evening to see how I can put them in the games I already have built. Thanks again for the praise worthy addition to our toolbox!
Thanks for the new sound effects.
A PLAY button in the sound library would be much appreciated on future updates, especially now that there is more variety, something similar also with VFX.
Awesome news! Looking fwd to perusing it. My only concernnis sound permanence. From time to time weve had sounds added and then removed from the library, much like the vfx presets. For the most part, can we assume this a permanent library?
Not sure if this addresses additional music scores, but if not, hope this is also high priority, without diminishing the urgency to have custom audio and the systems in place to manage copyright signoff.
New sfx don’t stop automatically, or gm just can’t reuse the same logic asset to play the sound again.
This is some example of better library for sounds.
