Huge thank you to all of you who shared valuable feedback and constructive ideas regarding Catalysts, we truly appreciate your dedication and passion for making The Sandbox an incredible place for creativity and innovation. We’ve heard you and have worked to make the necessary adjustments inspired by the ideas and suggestions we’ve gathered on the forum and 1:1 interviews:
Marketplace Purchases: Creators can now purchase Catalysts directly from The Sandbox marketplace at a fixed price.
This change aims to make catalysts more accessible for everyone. The prices will be as follows:
- Common: 1 SAND
- Uncommon: 3 SAND
- Rare: 10 SAND
- Epic: 40 SAND
- Legendary: 200 SAND
Delivery Date: Available Now.
Catalyst Drops/Claims:To reward creators for participating in our events, we’re systematically integrating Catalysts into creator challenges. We’ll be dropping a classical package of catalysts (100 Common, 50 Uncommon, 12 Rare, 3 Epic, 1 Legendary) to all participants of Builders Challenge #1. Additionally, Game Jams and Launchpad are already integrating catalysts as rewards.
Delivery Date: Builders Challenges #1 participants catalysts as claim by August 9th
Lazy Minting: Lazy minting remains on our roadmap, with an anticipated launch date by the end of 2024. This feature will offer creators a new way to monetize their work, allowing them to expand their business without needing to acquire catalysts upfront. This will make it possible for everyone to sell passes for running their leaderboards or seasons, a practice that many creators are currently engaged in.
Delivery Date: by late December
