In week 1 you have 10 unique players, and in week 2 you have (the same) 10 unique players. Itâs counted weekly. So from week to week, the unique player list resets.
You can also measure unique players over a month. The uniqueness is based on the period. So 10 unique in week 1, and the same 10 unique in week 2 would only count as 10 unique in a month, not twenty, even though measuring by weeks youâve have 10 unique players two times.
Think of it as a day pass to a theme park. You can go in an out as many times in 1 day as you want, you donât count as multiple ticket sales. But if you go the next week, you need another day pass. Thatâs two ticket sales to the same person.
So⌠just 10 âUnique Playersâ (preferably in the first week in order to get more reward) and you are elegible to receive rewards the rest of the BC2? After reading all the explanations, that is the conclusion that I think is reached.
But that is far from what the medium article says. 10 âUnique Playersâ each week, means that if you want to participate in the 10 weeks, you must have at least 100 âUnique Playersâ, there is nothing else that can be understood from that.
I think we should start defining what âUnique Playerâ is and how it works by collecting the statistics on the analytics page.
As I remember, the âUnique Playersâ counter is a number that is always growing and that increases every time a new player plays a game and completes a quest, as it was said in some AMA of the first BC. If I play and complete a quest from a game I played previously, the stat will not increase or reset. I think based on that, there is the confusion, if it is said that you need 10 Unique Players every week, it is understood that at the end of BC2 you should have gotten at least 100 Unique Players if you want to get the reward in the 10 weeks you participated, other than that I donât think you can get any other explanation. And also please stop giving different explanations to the confusions, we get more confused! Also stop resetting certain things to 1 week and others to 2 weeks. Even you TSB will get confused and we will have the same delays we had before.
As always Iâm going to believe Alex.
Also, there is a âDaily Active Usersâ counter, maybe making a new one, âweekly active playerâ could sort this all out perhaps?
On second thought. You can have 100 âUnique Playersâ in the first week and 0 in the rest of the weeks, in this circumstance, according to the Medium Article, you are only eligible for week #1 which was the one in which hypothetically you got 100 it in the first week, no matter if in the following weeks you get more Play Time or âTotal Playersâ but 0 Unique Players.
Yes @rocksymiguel in this situation, you donât meet the requirements of a reward. Because the rewards are based off 2-week time spans, which is the issue⌠you only met half of the requirement of eligibilityâŚ
Hello,
I noticed the Buildersâ Challenge is from June 24 to August 26, 2024, and it says itâs 10 weeks. When I count, it seems like 9 weeks. Can anyone explain how it adds up to 10 weeks?
@rocksymiguel
100? 10? 20? Per week, per event. Who cares?
Come one TSB, set as one, only the dev.
This is not a gaming platform; it is a metaverse of experiences, right?
Iâm definitely confused about whatâs happening.
Not everyone has communities, not everyone has too many friends.
100% @EscapeRoomArtist !
This will inhibit artists, newcomers and individuals from making their homes and their HUBs. Do I need to remind TSB about buying a U$300 LAND to publish a experience?
Why do I, in a c-o-m-p-e-t-i-t-i- o-n, need to beg for attention from other competitors to help me reach an arbitrarily imposed goal? Until now Idk how many friends I need to get that elegibility.
Yes, @rocksymiguel. Right?!
Canât we just stay in the top 1000 in peace?
You need 10 people to play your experience each week to be eligible for the rewards. Rewards are distributed every two weeks. Letâs say week #1 you have 12 players and week #2 you have 15, you are eligible for rewards for the first 2 weeks. If week #3 you have 9 players and week #4 you have 11 players , you are not eligible for rewards for the second batch. In a scenario where you have 8 players week #5 and 7 players week #6 you are not eligible for the third two weeks.
In this post⌠since you dropped the word âUNIQUEâ off in your scenario, Iâm once again confused of the eligibility requirements!
Please, please correct me @PeaJay if I am wrong as this need to made clear for everyone to understand. Here is what we knowâŚ
Builders to be eligible for reward need the following:
This section is ONLY talking about the UNIQUE factor.
A). 10 UNIQUE players to play our game/experience per week.
B). The players are UNIQUE for the 2-week reward period and then their uniqueness is reset for the next 2-week reward period.
C). Since players are UNIQUE in 2-week reward periods, they only count for the week they play during the 2-week reward period.
D). Therefore builders need 2-sets of 10 UNIQUE players. 10x2 = 20 UNIQUE players.
This section is for the players time countingâŚ
A). The players time is counted is not affected by the uniqueness. Their time is counted regardless if they are unique that week or not. As long as they are not caught cheating, AFK, etcâŚ
Hi @PeaJay, The Ubisoft has several collections, including Rabbids, Rabbids Lunar New Year, and Rabbids Lunar New Year. Can you confirm that they all count as valid boosts?
Hi @PeaJay, for the brand assets, one copy can only be used in 1 experience? I canât reuse the same 3 unique assets in other experience? So if I have 2 experiences for buildersâ challenge, I need to have 6 unique assets (or 3 unique with 2 copies each?) to add booster to both 2 experiences?
update: I tested with 3 unique assets with 2 copies in 2 different experiences. After launching one exp, the other one is blocked to launch with those 3 assets.
