How can i make the pivot-tool of the modeler snap to the grid?

I noticed, that the pivot sometimes snaps to half voxel units and sometimes moves free.

How can i control thid behavior?

Holding Shift when moving the pivot / move tool.

While on topic, the modeler snaps to .0 and .5 but the animator only snaps to even voxels. Not sure if there's a reason for this, but I'd like to have midpoints in both modes. In my experience snapping is a bit buggy because of some wider issue regularly locking down parts of the workspace (abf23cc) and I often get stuck in either mode. Right now I work around this by detaching and attaching the palette window. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i found out, that i have to use shift to activate and deactivate the snapping function of the pivot.
